Sir Bernard's Laughable Claim

On the 17 April 2007 Sir Bernard de Hoghton told the Chorley Citizen, "I was hoping to have cross-table discussions with these people [protesters] but they are completely blinkered."

Quite simply his claim is laughable. On the 6 April 2006, campaigners emailed Hoghton Tower and wrote to Sir Bernard de Hoghton directly stating, "If you feel it would be beneficial we would consider meeting you or any member of your staff".

He hadn't even the decency to reply and has never shown the slightest bit of interest in discussing anything.

So once again what does this tell you about Sir Bernard de Hoghton claims?
