Disappearing Footpath Signs

In order to prevent monitors filming the their killing shooters will often claim that there are no footpaths in the area or that the footpaths are elsewhere.

Luckily at Hoghton Tower we know where all the footpaths are and certainly better than the shooters themselves. However when the police are called they do have a slight tendency to believe the shooters.

So the public footpath signs along Witton Weavers Way (Beamers Trail) and other footpaths are vital to us being able to monitor the shoot with more police interruptions.

Unfortunately since we started campaigning several footpath signs have been removed, knocked down or covered up. By a strange twist of fate, none of the footpath signs that don't go near a shooting area have suffered any damage.

Perhaps the signs have been damaged by petty vandals or even the ghosts of Hoghton Tower which we never new existed until someone realised there was money to be made from Ghost Tours.
